Styrofoam Recycling

Doing our Part for the Community and the Environment

Polystyrene (commonly known as Styrofoam*) is not biodegradable. At BioSpan, we've developed a non-toxic solution to dissolve, recycle, and reuse polystyrene, helping reduce environmental impact. We encourage the community to donate their polystyrene for recycling.

The recycled material will be repurposed into BioSpan's patented green products, engineered right here in Missouri to solve long-standing pavement industry challenges.

Please note that not all types of foam are accepted; contact us for details. All donations must be rinsed and clean.

Accepted Items:

  • Cups, Plates, Bowls
  • Rigid Panels & Boards
  • Carry-Out Containers
  • Meat / Egg Packaging
  • Storage Coolers

Drop off donations at our Washington, Missouri facility. For larger donations (truckloads or more), please contact us to arrange a pickup.
