BioSpan’s Lindsey Hermes to Take the Stage at TEDxSt. Louis Women: Future Focus

We’re proud to announce that our own Lindsey Hermes, President & COO of BioSpan Technologies, will be a featured speaker at TEDxSt. Louis Women: Future Focus on September 5, 2025.

Lindsey will bring her unique perspective on sustainable infrastructure, innovation, and leadership to the TEDx stage, sharing how BioSpan’s bio-based technologies are transforming the way communities build and preserve the world around them. With over two decades of experience spanning global markets and a passion for reimagining how we approach our built environment, Lindsey embodies the event’s mission of sparking new ideas that create a better future.

Her talk will explore the power of replacing petroleum-based products with plant-based solutions—demonstrating how small changes can have massive impacts on carbon reduction, infrastructure longevity, and community well-being. Drawing from real-world examples—including BioSpan’s work with cities, ports, and global logistics leaders—she’ll show how innovative thinking can lead to tangible environmental and economic benefits.

“Future Focus is about looking ahead with clarity and courage,” says Lindsey. “I’m excited to share the ways we can reimagine infrastructure to serve both people and the planet.”

TEDxSt.Louis Women: Future Focus will be held on September 5, 2025 at the Touhill Performing Arts Center at the University of Missouri St. Louis campus, bringing together speakers, changemakers, and community members for a day of ideas worth spreading.

Stay tuned for behind-the-scenes updates as Lindsey prepares for the big day, and join us in celebrating this milestone moment for BioSpan and our mission to build a more sustainable future.
