ST. LOUIS, MO, February 3, 2025 – BioSpan Technologies, a leader in sustainable pavement preservation solutions, has named BioPave Services, led by veteran construction executive Dennis Helmer, as its distributor for California, Arizona, and Nevada. This partnership accelerates BioSpan’s westward expansion and addresses the region’s growing need for eco-friendly pavement preservation solutions.
“I am thrilled to welcome Dennis Helmer and BioPave Services to the BioSpan family,” said Lindsey Hermes, president of BioSpan Technologies. “His experience, extensive network and belief in our products make him an ideal partner to lead our growth in the West.”
Helmer, with more than 48 years of construction experience, founded BioPave Services in Napa to focus exclusively on BioSpan’s innovative biobased asphalt and concrete products. To boost product adoption, he will attend the Western Regional Association of Pavement Preservation (WRAPP) and California Asphalt Pavement Association (CalAPA) conferences in February. He will spotlight BioSpan’s flagship product, RePlay, and share case studies from Loma Linda and Rocklin that demonstrate enhanced road durability and lower long-term costs.
“The success stories from cities like Loma Linda highlight the transformative power of biobased pavement solution,” said Helmer. “With BioSpan’s innovative products, we can extend road life, reduce carbon footprints, and maximize budgets.”
