USB Recognizes BioSpan’s Recent Achievements

The United Soybean Board (USB) published an article in its BioBased Solutions online magazine recognizing BioSpan’s recent honor from the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA). As a longtime partner, BioSpan has received funding from USB to develop RePLAY™ and other soy-based products.

USB is made up of 68 farmer-directors who oversee the investments of the soybean checkoff on behalf of all U.S. soybean farmers. Checkoff funds are invested in the areas of animal utilization, human utilization, industrial utilization, industry relations, market access and supply. BioSpan president and CEO Sheldon Chesky says that “USB helps make the impossible possible… [it] provides support – both physical and fiscal – and guidance to help small businesses research, develop and, ultimately, commercialize soy-based products.”
